2. Even Placebo fans seem to be a bit hesitant. The album seems to be divided into two halves from what I gather. The first half of it seems to be quite bold and confronting while containing some aspects of the few Placebo songs I seem to know. The lyrics are often odd but the sound feels more accessible. The second half is quite different.

3. For all my complaining about those songs, though, I definitely think Loud Like Love is the most confident and catchy album they've released, overall. Hard to find very much consensus about this, even amongst the band's fans, but I'd definitely recommend this to any curious listener or fan of Placebo's older albums/5().

4. Placebo sind ruhiger geworden. "Louder than love" - sorry: "Loud like love" klingt erwachsen und irgendwie tiefsinnig. Der gleichnamige Titelsong ist - wie der Name schon sagt - kräftiger, lauter. "Scene Of The Crime" - fährt etwas runter, ohne den Faden zu verlieren. Echter Rock, Spannung ohne das Schlagzeug zu prügeln/5().

8. May 17,  · Loud Like Love isn't a waste of time, but it's an album that should be avoided (at least in its entirety) by all but the most tolerant of Placebo fanboys. Everybody else is better served nabbing the title track and relistening to the group's first two LPs. //5(25).
